Obama wants to do something about guns because he doesn't want to continue to see people get hurt and killed. Obama wants new gun laws, he wants to change the gun laws so that people have to get a background check before buying a gun. 40% of guns bought in America involves no background check. A lot of people don't want this to happen they say its "taking away from our LIBERTY".
